44 Weeks

What a week it has been for Mr. Tyler! He is so proud of himself for walking! When he falls down, he'll glance over to see if you're watching and when you get all excited he flashes the biggest smile. So cute :)
Waving bye-bye.

He waved bye to our friend and my Mom this week :)
It's the little things that get Mommies excited...hehe.
Tyler is definitely ALL BOY too. Wednesday night he flipped his play table over, on purpose, in a matter of seconds. Wild man!

Coming down the hall to see me

You can probably tell by the look on his face how hard he's working to lift the front of his walker up to make it down the hall. Little stinker!

After bath I always play with Tyler in his room before going to bed and most nights he'll find something to cuddle. I think it's so sweet. Cuddling usually means biting, rubbing his face/head, and rolling on the item of choice that night.

The items of choice the other night: blanket, sock monkey and a little prayer bear.

We went from 7-8 steps last week to 33 last night! Believe it or not, this was one of his shorter walks that he did last night. He walked from the couch to our back door before I was able to get the video rolling. Wow..... I sat there with my jaw on the floor just watching.
(just for the record...I don't care that he can walk, I refuse to put his walker in the attic! One item a month is about all I can handle! lol.)
10 Months

My baby is 10 months old today. I have no idea how that happened. We are officially out of the single digit months. Wow! *tear*
Some new things T-man is doing as of this weekend:
Waving "Bye-Bye"
We always wave bye-bye to T and over the weekend he started waving back! Well, "waving" in his own way :) He raises his hand above his head and just holds it there. So cute! Last night he waved bye bye to Daddy before bed.
Tyler is saying "uh oh" now too! I've heard him babbling when he drops something lately but I never listened closely and this weekend I put two and two together. He likes to drop his sippy cup from his high chair and yesterday it was definitely a clear "uh-oh!" He also does this when he takes things out of his toy box and throws them on the ground. :)
I'm loving all of Tyler's new tricks!
Saturday my Mom, Tyler and I headed to the Country Peddler show and had a blast! Tyler enjoyed his stroller ride and talking to everyone. After the show we went to some antique stores where Tyler got even more attention from all of the old grannies....he definitely eats the attention up!
Ready for the show!

He passed out toward the end

Later that night Mom and I were calling Tyler "Kettle corn" because his hair smelled just like it. I hate that stuff! lol.
Funny story: after the antique stores we were taking a break in the car and feeding Tyler before we headed back to town. He was done eating and we were just sitting there talking and playing with him. We were telling him to say "MaMa" "MaMa" "MaMa" over and over. He was quiet for a few minutes and then he gave us the most adorable face, smiled and in the sweetest voice you've ever heard he said "DaaaaDaaaa!" We burst into a fit of laughter, of course! Little stinker!!!
He's got the sippy cup down now!

Playing in his room. He LOVES to play in his room :)

A favorite game: take everything off the shelves. He can reach the 3rd shelf now too...ahhhh! Soon he'll probably try climbing them. I'm not ready for that!

He put his block on his tractor and was pushing it around. Pretty smart I think!

Catching his balance

Do you see his baby camo crocs?! Melissa sent us these when we found out we were pregnant. I think they're adorable and can't believe they fit already!

Tyler has started to make a really funny, Donald Duck-like sound as of this past Saturday. (He did it through a whole store on Sat...it was hilarious.) I was trying to capture it on video but of course he wasn't doing it. He was telling me some kind of story though. (and spitting, still a favorite past-time)
Little Man Talk

This little man....

Is a talker just like his Momma! lol
My SIL mentioned that she wanted to hear about Tyler's "words" and I thought it was a great idea! I can remember every little sound he makes right now but I know when he starts talking for real I'll forget his sweet little ramblings. (another reason I love having a blog!)
Tyler's language:
Dada (dadadadadada)
Ga Ga Ga
Ba Ba Ba
Pretty much any combination of the above except MA MA MA lol!
Oooooo aaaaaahhhhhhh (very long and with a deep voice)
Wo waaaaaa
UH UH UH (very loudly)
eeeeeeeeee (shrill)
puh puh puh
errrrrr (usually when he's pushing something...I think he picked this one up from the "big boys" at school.)
he also makes a clicking sound with his tongue and blows air through his gums
Fun times :)
Tyler has been quite the entertainer this week! It all started Sunday night after we got done eating with our friend Andrew. On the way home Tyler was a wild man in his car seat...talking, playing, bouncing around. We got him home and let him loose in the living room and he was putting on quite a show! Every night since then he's been a little tornado! It is so fun to watch!
Tyler has also started to take about 7-8 steps without falling down. I cannot believe my eyes when he does it. He has no fear...just lets go of whatever he's holding onto and starts to go. Unbelievable! He has also figured out how to go on the carpet in his car (walker). I was doing something in our bedroom the other day (in the back of the house) and Rolf and Tyler were in the living room. I heard some commotion in the hallway and looked over to see Tyler standing in my room, in the walker. That little stinker! I've seen him do it several more times too. He lifts the front of the walker up while standing and inches his way wherever he wants to go. Sometimes he is freaky strong. lol.
Here are a few pictures from this past week :)
Bath time is probably one of my favorite times of the night. I take Tyler into the bathroom and let him stand by the side of the tub while I get his water running. He really thinks he's king of the mountain when he gets to do this. He walks back and forth beating his hands on the side of the tub and squealing in excitement until I finally take his diaper off and put him in the bath. During bath he splashes the water and tries to eat the front of his bath seat. I'm going to take him out of his bath seat eventually but for right now it works best, especially because he's such a wild man! The only thing he hates about bath time is getting his hair rinsed...HATES it.

Looking at the water, pounding the tub and getting so excited! lol!

Disclaimer: I promise he never has that much water in the tub! I wasn't paying attention because I was taking pictures and all of a sudden the tub was way too full. oops....

Playtime after bath

Walking with Molly's bone...yucky

Diving in for something good...hehe.

It was finally warm enough outside for Tyler to wear his new fishing shirt! Hilarious!
Big boy car seat :) I'm partial of course but I think he looks so darn cute riding in his new seat. Such a big boy!

I raised his jumperoo to the highest level (should have done it a loooong time ago) and he likes to play underneath it now. So cute :) (I'm glad he still likes to play in it too because I have to put the crazy man in something so I can get dressed in the mornings!)

The usual scene when I get home from work...Tyler crawling everywhere and Molly going crazy with her green ball. It's madness and so much fun at the same time!

Funny falling picture. Do you like his new shoes?! I ordered him 2 new pairs of Robeez...I love them!

Here he is playing with his Opa and Pop Pop the truck.

I think he's been playing hard at school this week. Andrea says he's trying to walk all over the place and chase the big boys.

Non stop action

Tickle monsters

The clones

Talking with Oma after his bath. Sleepy baby!

Exhausted on the way home. He was asleep before we even got out of Oma and Opa's neighborhood last night.

Probably one of my favorite pig pictures of all time. My sleeping little 43 week baby :) He didn't even crack an eye open when I insisted on taking his pig picture last night. Sweet boy.

AND........
Introducing Miss. Annabelle Kathleen!!!! Josh and Lacey welcomed their precious new bundle of joy into the world this past Monday, January 18th at 2:02am! Annabelle and Tyler are going to be great friends! (They weighed exactly the same and were only 1/2 an inch apart! meant to be...lol!) We got to meet Annabelle on Wednesday night and it was so fun. I don't remember Tyler being that small! Annabelle was awake when we got there but quickly fell asleep once she had her paci. I enjoyed holding her so much!! You forget those sweet newborn noises that they make and how cuddly they are. Baby fever??? HECK yes! But...we're not doing anything about that until a couple years down the road! LOL! (Tyler looked huge when we picked him up from my Mom's house later that night...ha!)
Sweet little angel :)
