Introducing my new BFF!

Rolf and I have been talking about getting an electric gate at our house for a long time...it was installed yesterday! I couldn't be happier! Now I don't have to worry about my little man running to the street every.single.time we are outside. :)
We have a little walk-through gate on the far left side of the fence that isn't shown in the picture above.

This toddler Momma is one happy camper!

5th Haicut....a success?

It is when you bring out the tractor!!!

Best barber shop seat in town!

"Wait just a minute....what's with this haircutting business? I'm drivin' my tractor."

He wasn't unhappy or crying....more confused than anything! Ha!

He's watching Mikayla in this picture. (Basically if we wanted Tyler to look a certain way we would have Mikayla entertain him from that angle...worked like a charm!)

Ta-da!!!

The tractor haircut station was a success!!! (We had other ideas up our sleeve if this didn't work but luckily it did!)

After the haircut we got a few shots of Mikayla in the "pumpkin patch."

Until our little scarecrow stole the tiny pumpkins....

Thief in action.....
(not sure what's up with the angle of this picture...grrrr)

Thanks for the haircut, Kirsten!!!

4-wheeler (Wowee)

Between the Kubota, Tractors and 4-wheeler, Tyler rode a million miles this weekend. He loves to ride!

Waiting for Daddy

I took some action shots while we were driving around yesterday. Seeing Tyler's little hands holding the handlebars is too cute! He really thinks he's driving and takes it very seriously....ha!

He even told the 4-wheeler bye before we left. "Dye Dye WoWee"

Updates

Tyler is 19 months old today!!! I say it every month but how in the world did that happen?!! Here are a few lazy baby book updates from the last month. There are so many new things happening with Tyler everyday that I constantly have a running list going on the counter. You would think I might just get the baby book out and keep it open but it's way more fun to keep up with millions of sticky notes. ;) I'm sure some day I won't be able to keep up with everything new but I'm giving it a good try.
  • Tyler gives bear hugs now and it's the sweetest thing ever! He'll either wrap his arms around your whole body or tightly around your neck. LOVE this!
  • We are very into "dip." Dip can be anything liquid. It started at the Mexican food restaurant with hot sauce. Of course the sauce is too hot for him so I showed him how to dip his chip in his fruit cup water. Now anytime he sees liquid (jelly, salad dressing, etc.) he has to have some "dip." You can't even open the fridge without him running over there yelling "dip dip dip!"
  • He can't say horse or pony but that's okay, he'll just spit to tell you he sees one. I guess he interpreted our horse sound as spitting. :) Hilarious!
  • The boy LOVES our Halloween lights. Before I can ever put my purse and work bag down at night he runs to the pumpkin telling me, "Lllllight, lllight, lllight" and before I can even get that one plugged in he is running to the haunted house telling me the same thing. Christmas is going to be fun!!
  • Tyler has the funniest run! I must get it on tape. He looks like a penguin! Don't underestimate the funny run though....the boy is fast!
  • He likes to tell the dogs "no" when they are barking, messing with him or any time that he feels like they are doing something wrong. He will either tell them "no" or "no doggy."
  • He also likes to tell anything that has hurt him "no." This started at a friend's house when he banged his head on the table and he and my Mom went to tell the table "no." Now he tells anything and everything "no" when it hurts him. This weekend he told the Kubota seat no in addition to the concrete that he skinned his arm on...ha!
  • Tyler can ew and aaah with the best of them when we're shopping. It's so funny! Rolf and I were at the grocery store the other night and Rolf was picking out some ice cream. He brought it back to the cart and Tyler said "ooooooo." My Mom and I were also in the fall area at Hobby Lobby picking out some decorations that we "needed." Tyler let out a loud "OOOOOO" and the whole aisle of people cracked up. We've taught him well!!
  • A few new words: Bike, Bite, Bow (hunting, of course)
  • Rolf is now known as "Dah Dah." Keeping with his French accent.

Here are a few random pictures that I haven't posted yet.

Tyler's first Cheetos...in the car. Not the best idea I ever had.

Reading with Poppy....a Monday night ritual during DWTS.

Lots of Farm pictures coming soon!

Tyler's New Babies

Tyler loves his blanket and paci but recently he has become attached to some new babies. It is the cutest thing ever! Sunday we were getting ready to go to Oma and Opa's house when Tyler came out of his room holding his blue dog and pink pig (from the weekly pics...hehe). He was insistent that we brought them with us and has been attached to them ever since. He even gives them rides in his cozy coupe. It's so sweet. :) Here are a few pictures of Tyler with his new babies.

Time for a ride!

Move over babies, he's comin' in!

LOL...looks like it's a tight fit!

18 Month Appt.

I took Tyler for his 18 month appointment this morning and the doctor said everything looked good! He is 25lbs. (14.8 oz, so almost 26lbs.) and 34.5'' tall. Still tall and skinny according to the dr. :) He had to get one shot but didn't even cry...I was so happy! Here are a couple pictures of the little man at his appointment.

Running everywhere and into everything! I think he looks so funny wearing only his shoes and diaper...ha!

Kinley turns 1!

Last Sunday we went to Kinley's first birthday party! It's hard to believe she's already one!! How cute is she in her birthday tutu??!!

Kam and Kinley

Kam did a beautiful job with the decorations!

Yummy!

Cutest favor idea ever! (cheerios in decorated baby food jars)

T-man says, "enough with the girly details, did you see this cool runway?!"

Let's not forget the rocks! oh, the rocks......

Cute picture of Jake, Kinley and Tyler. (Tyler is asking where the dog is...ha!)

Picture with the birthday girl! (I'm liking this "family of four" shot! Someday.....not soon.)

This picture makes me laugh...Tyler is real happy about having to stop running to take a picture (therefore I have my toddler death grip going on and am talking through my gritted teeth smile telling him to just look at the camera), Kinley's looking at him wondering what the big deal is, and Rolf is cool as a cucumber. Typical!

Cupcake time!!

Look at her crinkled nose! She's sniffing the cupcake out! lol!

Tyler loved the jewelry box that we got Kinley. Cracked me up! Here he is showing it to her....ha!

These two are up to no good!

Happy Birthday, Kinley!
