Tyler's Christmas Party & Other School Fun

Tyler's on winter break and we couldn't be happier about that! No homework, no packing lunches, wake up later than normal, yahoo!!
Last Friday was Tyler's holiday party and in 1st grade they get to decorate gingerbread houses!

Last week was also Holiday ROAR Store shopping and look who Tyler spent his bucks on.....

Two Fridays ago we had the fall fundraiser at school and it was completely different than anything they have done in the past. It was SO much fun and such a great idea! It was called Adventure Dash and the students raised money and then ran through an obstacle course on the final day. All week the "coaches" for Adventure Dash were at the school hyping the kids up to raise money and learning dances and doing silly things with them. They earned wristbands for different levels of money raised and here's Tyler showing me all of his bands during drop-off that day.
Parents were invited to watch adventure dash and I'm so glad I went!

We were the Texans and our teacher wore a tutu, so fun!
Tyler would NOT look at me and acted as if he didn't hear me calling his name. Little stinker!!!
Before the "race" (obstacle course), the coaches danced and sang with the kids. It was great fun to watch!
