11 Months!

Tyler is 11 months old! Can you believe it? I sure can't. In less than a month I'll have a one year old! No way! Here are some pictures from this week :)

I was trying to take a self portrait of Tyler and I but failed miserably...haha!

My little mess maker.

Who me?

Happy baby!

Hmmm....this looks fun
Tyler thought the pots and pans were pretty cool at NaNee's house. When our kitchen is done I'm going to make him his own cabinet to play in. :)

Loaf pans taste good!

48 week pig picture. Only 4 more left! *tear*

Last night I took Tyler to Kirsten's house to have his first haircut! Rolf has been bugging me to get Tyler's hair cut for over a month now but I just didn't want to! Well, it has been hanging in his eyes and he has a baby mullet so it was definitely time.

Before

The cuttin' crew

Mikayla was happy, Tyler was not....lol

Not too bad.....

Got my paci, checking out the comb...going pretty good.

Got my cookies and Mikayla is pretty entertaining!

Um......not sure I'm liking this anymore.

Yep, I officially hate this. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Even though Tyler was crying as hard as he could, he was still stuffing cookies in his mouth. lol! In this pictures he is going bbbbbbbbbbbb and spitting. Poor baby! (Yes, I was laughing...oops)

Look at Tyler's face and then look at Mikayla's face. She is thinking, "Why is he crying? It's just a haircut!" LOL
Tyler was giving Mike (Kirsten's husband) the evil eye. "You gonna help me out here man or what?"

So Mad!

See the tears on his shirt? Poor thing was so upset! Doesn't his haircut look cute though?!

All better! His new hairdo and pink lawnmower....what more could a boy ask for?!

My little sweetie this morning :)

Today is Go Texan Day so I dressed Tyler in his Wranglers and western shirt :) (Mommy even got to wear jeans to work today....woohoo!!!)

Doesn't he look like a big boy with his new haircut?

His hair is still laying flat as of this morning but I'm anxious to see what a little humidity is going to do to it. Are we going to have hair that sticks up again?! Possibly...haha!

There are no house pictures today because honestly I don't think I would ever remodel again if I took pictures with the amount of dust I have right now. The electricians were working in the attic the other day (converting my stove from gas to electric) and the painters were sanding at the same time. Well, the dust was sucked up through the attic and distributed ever so nicely into every single room in my house. It was enough to make me want to cry on Wednesday night! BUT...it's okay.... Back splash will be installed tomorrow, Rolf and I will install the appliances on Sunday, cabinets will be stained next week and then we will be done!! I may be cleaning for a year but that's just part of it I guess. Happy Friday!!!

Hello Mr. G., welcome home buddy!

The granite is here! I was so excited to get home last night I was practically turning the corner on 2 wheels to get there. These pictures aren't the best because it's hard to ignore the "leftover formica glue back splash" but you'll get the general idea :)

Did you see my new light above the sink? I really like it!

Hello new sink!

The wood part below the bar will be granite as well.

Man, that's some purdy backsplash isn't it?

!!!!!!!!!!!

The granite still has to be "finished" and a few more pieces are being installed below the bar, on my windowsill and in the breakfast area but for the most part it's done.

My cabinets had their first sanding yesterday and oh.my.gosh. what a mess! I got home and one of my cabinets was slightly cracked. I took a peek inside and there were layers upon layers of dust..... I ever so calmly shut the door and promised myself to not look again until this is all over with. I'll be cleaning for years....... It's worth it, right?

Baby Deere!

Tyler had a great time at the farm this weekend! When he got there Poppy had a little early birthday present surprise for him...his own John Deere!! (My dad has been dying to purchase this tractor from the feed store before he even knew he was going to be a grandpa. I'll admit, I wanted to buy it a long time ago too...hehe) Tyler still has to grow into it but he liked riding on it and pushing it around by himself :) Here are some pictures....

Getting pushed around, checking out the big boy tractors as he goes by.

Love this!

My very own tractor! Thanks Poppy!

How about a ride in the trailer? (I have a feeling Tyler is going to try and make the wiener dogs ride in the trailer someday....can you see it?)

Tyler had a blast pushing the tractor around. (it is all metal and supposed to be pretty heavy so they were all surprised he could push it!)

Fun times! His tractor is parked in the barn next to the big tractors :)

I had an absolute blast at my scrap-a-thon! We were there from 10am - 10pm! Crazy women! I can't post my work just yet because it's all for T's birthday :)

Sunday afternoon it was pretty warm so I gave Tyler an early bath and he played in his diaper. I think babies are so cute running around in their diapers.

This is my make-shift barricade. Tyler likes to stretch as far as he can and touch Molly on the other side. She licks his hand or pushes her ball to him and he cracks up! (I have a feeling this barricade won't last too much longer since he has already figured out how to push it out of the way and escape through the tiniest area!)

Running away laughing after Molly licked him. lol.

My little sweetie

All dressed up for Daddy's birthday dinner

Somehow I managed to forget my camera for dinner...dangit! Tyler was so entertaining too...figures! Rolf was sliding Tyler's sippy cup on the table and Tyler would swing his arm and knock it down when it got close to him. He was laughing so hard at himself...it was cute!

What can I say, the boy likes asparagus. LOL!
(this is a fake asparagus that he ripped off of his farm/garden growth chart...little stinker!)

Nummers

Time for a house update!!
The painters finished the living room and breakfast area on Friday! I think it looks so good! These aren't the final before and after shots because I don't have my decorations back up and the furniture is still not the same but I couldn't help but post some "pre before and after" shots!

You can imagine how giddy I am over this! The granite guys are at the house right now!!!
