High Heels

Tyler LOVES wearing my high heels. I think it's adorable except when he wears my good work shoes outside. It's actually quite hilarious because I'm usually in the middle of changing clothes when he grabs my heels, puts them on and runs as fast as he can outside. Meanwhile, I have no clothes on and am banging on the window yelling for him to "get Mommy's good work shoes inside this minute!" Happens every.single.day. Craziness.... So, in an attempt to keep favorite heels from getting scuffed up I dug out an older pair to give to him. He thought this was super cool and wears them almost every night. I snapped these pictures yesterday. ;)

Yesterday he insisted on checking the mail in his heels. Oh boy!

Most days this is how I find the heels after 10 minutes. Nobody said cute heels are comfy....ha!

I think it's so sweet and innocent when little boys copy their Mommies. :)

Creek Weekend

This weekend we headed down to the creek for some fun in the sun. I can't begin to tell you how much Tyler LOVES the creek!! Boats, fish, crabs, swimming, etc. The boy loves it!! Pretty sure I can remember another little person that loved it that much too (ME). ;)

When I put Tyler in the truck on Friday night he squealed with excitement and said, "I GO CREEK!!!" It was so cute! I tried to get him to do it again for the camera but of course he wouldn't. I was able to capture him saying "creek" and dancing. :)

Saturday we swam a lot! Little guy doesn't look like he was having a bit of fun does he? hehe

"tractorrrrrrrrrr"

Saturday night some friends took us for a spin in their restored RV. Here is a picture of my Dad and Tyler headed to the bus. Honestly, I'm not sure who was more excited....haha!

Tyler was fascinated with the bus!

Tyler found his seat!

Fun times with friends :) We were well aware of how redneck this was but that's why it was so much fun! Good old fashioned fun! It's the little things in life. :)

Sunday morning Boppy taught Tyler how to use the sprayer on the fish cleaning sink. To be continued.....

Here are the men with their catch.

And here is Tyler spraying the men. lol! oops.

Tyler was SO excited when the guys got back from fishing on Sunday morning. Rolf was cleaning out the bait box and letting Tyler throw the "not so lively" ones back in the creek. He was SO HAPPY! Cracked me up!! The apple definitely doesn't fall far from the tree. :)

Welcome Roman!

Last Saturday we were able to meet our nephew for the first time!!! Isn't he PRECIOUS?!

You know I had a blast holding, feeding and cuddling that little guy!

Victoria and her sweet little boy :)

We had a Hollywood themed party complete with Roman's Orange Dreamsicle soda and Party Like a Rock star Root Beer. Anja is so creative!

This activity was the hit of the party (besides Roman of course!). Anja had a great idea to set up a "photo booth" complete with props that we gathered from our houses. It was a lot of fun!

The best picture we could capture of Oma and Opa and their two grandsons. ;)

Aunt Alice with her nephews and great nephews!

Tyler ADORES Claire and Andy (Oma and Opa's neighbors). He was glued to them for the entire party. They are so sweet with him.

Anja and Brian with one of their nephews :)

SILs having fun with the photo booth!

Cousins!

Tyler, give Roman a kiss....

:)

LOVE this picture that Anja snapped of Tyler. It was a fluke that he was sitting still and posing...ha! I think I will order a canvas print of this for my house. :)

Family picture where everyone is looking at the camera! yay!

You have to look closely at this picture to see the cuteness. Tyler was serenading Roman with his harmonica. It was so sweet. :)

We are so happy Roman is part of our family!!

Father's Day

We had a great weekend! I decided to post Father's Day pictures first because I have lots of party pictures to sort through before posting. :)

We spent part of Father's Day at the boat show! It was so much fun! I've always loved the boat show (Rachel, remember our "backpacks??? lol!) but seeing Tyler get so fired up about the boats brings a whole new meaning to loving the boat show. I've never seen a two year old get this excited over boats....so cute!

This picture cracks me up....
I was about to snap the picture of Tyler and Dada with these 3-300's when a stranger ran up behind them. Rolf thought it was the salesman telling him to "step away from the boat" but it was Mr. Paul. ha! It was fun to run into him and we all got a big laugh out of it. :)

Picture re-do :)

Such a big boy checking out the boats with Dada.

:)

"No worries, I got this Mom."

I took a picture of this rolling door because at one point Tyler pulled Rolf over there and said, "Dada, open garage." hahaha!

Two hours of running, climbing and extreme excitement will do this to you.... ;)

I didn't get to see my Dad yesterday because he was at the creek. We'll see him this week! I pulled this picture of us goofing around on the tractor last year around Father's Day. :)

Saturday night we gave Opa his Father's Day gift, a picture of him and Tyler playing their harmonics, and he loved it!

Happy Father's Day!!!
