Weekend Recap: Memorial Day Edition

We're back from a long weekend and it was so nice!! I wish every weekend was 3 days long!

Friday started off WET.  Rolf backed his truck under our patio to load.  Who says we don't have a carport?!

We had the chance to leave early on Friday evening but it was a sloppy mess outside so we probably would have been better leaving late like we always do.  At least little girl slept the whole ride.

Friday night we had TERRIBLE storms and no power.  It was a restless night but we woke up to sunshine! (and a flooded creek)

Little girl is lovin' playing with brother's toys!

The new frown is hilarious!

Giving Daddy the stink face.

The next few pictures are HUGE for our creek area.  In my 30+ years going to Sargent we have never, ever had more than just a tiny (nasty, stinky) store.  We don't have anything commercialized there and that's one of the reasons we love it BUT when a Dollar General opened recently we were ecstatic.  It's our very own Sargent Wal-Mart!  They built the store at the entrance to our neighborhood so we don't have to go on any highways.....which means.......
Tyler gets the biggest kick out of taking the Ranger to DG!

Back to the house for little girl's nap.  She crashed HARD for 3 hours!

Time for some swimming!  (Hailey is eating, of course)

Yesterday Hailey was asleep (with her hand in her snack trap) before we even turned off of our road.

Still holding onto that trap.  ha!

My big boy was worn out too!  Two solid days of running, swimming, playing will wear a kid out!

Monday morning and we're all feeling a bit like this......

Drivin' Miss. Hailey

Right around Hailey's birthday we brought the ol' Cozy Coupe down out of the attic.  Tyler loves to drive Miss. Hailey!

The same day I took the pictures of Tyler driving Hailey was the same day these gems popped up on my timehop....

Tyler taking Hailey for her very first ride.  :)
Tyler loved that hospital cart and would have brought it home with us if they would have let him, HA!
