Tractor Lights
Wednesday, December 21, 2011
I SWORE I wasn't going to buy anymore Christmas decorations this year and I've done great so far. Until my Mom spotted these at Hobby Lobby.........
How could I pass these tractor lights up?!
Next year I may put a tree in Tyler's room with his tractor lights but I didn't feel like dragging anything else out so I hung them in front of the fireplace.
Tyler was SO happy when he saw them! "Are dez for me?!"

Scarf & Updates
Tuesday, December 20, 2011
Sunday afternoon it was a bit chilly outside and I worried about Tyler's neck getting cold (since he refused to wear a coat with his sweatshirt and shark hat). So, I found a small scarf of mine and made him wear it. There were zero complaints and he looked SO CUTE!! (Rolf about died when he saw it was pink but whatever, it worked!)

hehe.
It's been awhile since I cleared my "Tyler Notes" off of my phone so here we go!
hehe.

- The other day we were in the store and Tyler wanted to open a toy (that we were NOT buying) and when I told him no he turned to my mom and said, "NaNee, I need a knife!" ahhh!
- Dool Bozer- Bull Dozer
- Acada Meows- Academy
- Wipstick....Tyler is VERY into his "wipstick."
- He often asks me (after a tantrum), "why me cry?" Um, I have no idea!
- "Why me bein siwwy?"
- After bath he tells me (in a VERY low voice), "I NEED CREAM!" Haha, okay buddy!
- The other day we were driving and I said something about the traffic being really bad to which Tyler replied, "why dey bein bad. do dey need der bb?" ha!
- Antenna towers are big ladders in Tyler's eyes. ;) He wants to "climb dat big wadder!"
- The other morning Tyler was coming to our room (bc he hasn't slept a full night since the stupid time change) and Rolf said he heard him tooting down the hall (with every step). Too funny!
- wiw-o-bit- in a little bit
- The other night we told Tyler if he ate all of his dinner we would take him to see some Christmas lights. He told us, "I no wan see lights, I won go see something else....like Home Depot!" Kids are so funny!
- "I'm taking a pill." (as he swallows a marshmallow with water). Oh geez!
- Sunday after Tyler and Rolf got done mowing we were headed inside for lunch when Tyler told us, "wait, I have check my tires!" Then he ran over to his dump truck and kicked all four tires. (just like Rolf does to the riding lawnmower.........) wow! lol!

Liederkrantz Christmas
Tuesday, December 13, 2011
Sunday afternoon we went to the annual Liederkrantz Christmas party with Oma and Opa. Last year was our first year to go and we had such a nice time that's it's become one of our Christmas traditions. I especially enjoy hearing all of the Christmas songs sang in German and seeing all of the children with Santa. :)
Before we left the house Tyler packed a Kroger sack full of "stuff to show Santa." ha! In this picture he's asking me "where Santa at?"

Opa's singing group!

Children's sing-a-long time! There Tyler goes.......

Oops...NOPE! Realized Mommy wasn't with him so he came running back. :)

I adore this picture of my little guy in his Christmas outfit. (recycled the vest from last year...score!!)

SANTA!!!

All of the children received a special treat bag from Santa! I thought Tyler wouldn't go but he RAN up there as fast as he could!

Tyler came back to our table and Rolf asked if he told Santa thank you to which he said, "uh oh, I better go back up der and tell Santa!" So sweet and unexpected! Here he is running back to tell Santa thank you. :)

Gingerbread House
Monday, December 12, 2011
I bought a gingerbread house kit at Target two weeks ago and we finally had time to put it together yesterday! I originally bought the kit with the intention of hiding it from Tyler until Rolf returned from Kansas BUT the little stinker saw it when I picked him up from school! Our house has been to school everyday (stays in the car), out to eat (even for my Mom's birthday), shopping, etc. The boy has been obsessed! It's so cute and funny to see him taking it everywhere. I think the high school girls' reaction at Outback was the best. :)
Even though Tyler knew we couldn't open the house until Dada returned from hunting, he would tell me, "I need a knife to cut dis open!" Ha! We were going to my Mom's house one day and he told me," I take dis NaNee's house....she have a knife....I sure she does!" :) Yeah okay buddy!
Rolf returned from Kansas late Sunday night and then I had to leave for Denver the very next morning so we never had a chance to do the house. Poor Tyler was chomping at the bit to get started!!
Click HERE for a little video of Tyler telling you all about his gingerbread house the first night we had it!
Here are 3 more videos of Tyler opening the house, telling Dada he needs a knife, and asking if he can eat the house!
Now for the pictures....

SO excited!

Serious with the icing.
